Amazfit Bip 6 Launched with AMOLED Display and 14-Day Battery

Amazfit has officially introduced the Bip 6, the successor to last year’s Bip 5 smartwatch. The new model brings several improvements, including a larger AMOLED screen, enhanced build quality, Bluetooth calling, and a longer-lasting battery.

Display and Design

The Amazfit Bip 6 features a 1.97-inch color AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels, a pixel density of 302 ppi, and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The screen is protected by tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating. The watch supports over 400 watch faces, although Always-On Display support hasn’t been confirmed.

The frame is made from aluminum alloy, while the case uses fiber-reinforced polymer. The watch weighs 27.9g without the straps. It comes with 22mm wide silicone straps that fit wrists between 130-195mm and use a classic pin buckle. The Amazfit Bip 6 is available in four color options—Black, Charcoal, Stone, and Red.

Features and Fitness Tracking

Running on Zepp OS 4.5 with OpenAI integration, the Bip 6 offers a wide range of health and fitness tracking capabilities. These include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level measurement, sleep and stress tracking, and menstrual cycle tracking with personalized recommendations via Wild.AI.

The watch supports over 140 sports modes and offers guidance through the Zepp Coach feature. It also includes 5 ATM water resistance, a speaker, a microphone, an ambient light sensor, and a built-in GPS with support for five satellite positioning systems. Turn-by-turn navigation and downloadable maps are also available.

Battery and Pricing

The Bip 6 packs a 340 mAh battery that delivers up to 14 days of usage under typical conditions and up to six days with heavy use. The retail package includes a USB-C compatible charging base, though a cable is not included for environmental reasons.

Bluetooth 5.2 ensures compatibility with Android (7.0 and up) and iOS (14.0 and up) devices. Voice control support is also built-in.

It is priced at $79.99 in the US.
