To finalize traffic arrangements for the upcoming Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Parade, a meeting of traffic police Abbottabad was held under the chairmanship of SSP Tariq Mehmood Khan.
The meeting was attended by all Circle Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), Inspectors, and other relevant staff. Key discussions focused on ensuring uninterrupted traffic flow during the parade, with special emphasis on managing high-traffic zones efficiently.
To support local law enforcement, the deployment of additional personnel from surrounding districts was considered and approved. The inclusion of highway police for improved coordination and road management during the event was also discussed.
SSP Tariq Mehmood Khan directed officials to establish checkpoints at strategic locations, particularly from Havelian Interchange to the PMA main gate. He also ordered the deployment of extra personnel at all congested points to ensure the PMA Parade proceeds smoothly and without disruption.
The SSP emphasized the importance of effective traffic management during national events and assured full preparedness from the traffic police department.
