Pakistani Students Eligible to Study in UK’s Top University

To boost international academic collaboration, the University of Sargodha (UoS) signed an articulation agreement with Bangor University (BU), UK, enabling student mobility and joint academic programmes in business studies.

The UoS is now the second university in Pakistan to formalise ties with Bangor University.

The agreement was formalized at UoS by Prof. Dr. Ijaz Asghar, Director of External Linkages, and Ms. Sergine Monple, Director of Global Engagement at Bangor University, in the presence of Vice Chancellor UoS Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas and Mr. Javed, Country Head of BU for Pakistan.

Under the agreement, eligible UoS students can transfer to Bangor University after completing two or three years of their undergraduate business programs, leading to a BU degree equivalent to those awarded in the UK. Both institutions also plan to expand the partnership into other disciplines, faculty exchanges, and joint research initiatives.

While addressing the MoU signing ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas welcomed the collaboration, calling it a vital step toward enhancing academic excellence and global exposure for Pakistani students.

Ms. Monple expressed excitement about welcoming students from UoS to Bangor’s diverse learning community.
