A Pakistan Army training aircraft went down near Ratta Tibba in Luddan Mandi, Vehari District, following a reported technical failure.
Both pilots on board the aircraft safely ejected before impact and did not suffer any injuries.
Rescue teams and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene, securing the area and beginning recovery efforts.
The exact reason for the malfunction has not yet been identified, but officials have launched an investigation to determine what caused the crash.
Luddan, located near the River Sutlej, lies roughly 27 kilometres from Vehari city. The region is known for its strong agricultural presence, with crops such as cotton, maize, and sugarcane commonly cultivated.
In addition to its farming economy, Luddan has historical significance, being the hometown of Mumtaz Daultana, former Punjab chief minister and key figure in the Pakistan Movement.
