Lahore Board Introduces New Intermediate Roll Number Slips to Stop Cheating

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has started issuing roll number slips for Intermediate Part-2 students appearing in the first annual examination of 2025.

According to Controller of Examinations Zahid Mian, this year’s exams will begin on April 29 and around 183,000 candidates are expected to take part.

To curb cheating and ensure transparency, QR codes have been added to the roll number slips. Zahid Mian stated that the QR code system has already proven effective in stopping fake candidates from entering examination centres.

How to Obtain Roll Number Slip

• Private candidates can download their roll number slips from the official BISE Lahore website.
  • Regular candidates will receive their slips from their respective institutions.

Exam Schedule:

• The first exam day includes Psychology, Food and Nutrition, and Military Science in the morning session, while the evening shift covers Outlines of Home Economics, Hematology and Blood Banking, and Applied Sciences.
• The English Compulsory paper is scheduled for April 30 in both morning and evening shifts.

All candidates must carry their roll number slips to the examination centre. Entry without it will not be allowed. The slip contains key information such as paper timings, centre address, and the candidate’s personal date sheet.
