The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda will be officially inaugurated in Islamabad next week, marking a new chapter in diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Rwanda.
According to a statement issued on Friday, Rwandan Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Olivier Jean Patrick Nduhungirehe, will arrive in Pakistan on Monday, April 21, for a two-day official visit. He will lead the inauguration ceremony of the new embassy.
The event is expected to be attended by senior government officials from both nations, members of the diplomatic community, and other distinguished guests.
The Rwandan foreign minister’s visit is being described as a “significant milestone” in advancing bilateral relations. His engagements will include high-level meetings with Pakistani government leaders and the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to boost cooperation across different sectors.
Officials from both sides view the development as an opportunity to deepen collaboration and explore new avenues of partnership.
