Motorola has rolled out its 2025 foldable lineup with the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra, both now offering IP48-certified dust and water resistance. The Razr 60 Ultra brings several hardware upgrades, while the Razr 60 focuses on folding essentials with modest specs.
Both devices were released globally on April 25, with regional availability beginning in May. Here are the details.
The Razr 60 Ultra features a very tall 7.0-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, 1224 x 2912 resolution, and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness. The 4.0-inch external screen matches the same refresh rate and supports Dolby Vision. Meanwhile, the Razr 60 uses a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 3.6-inch external AMOLED screen capped at 90Hz and 1,700 nits.
Both phones are built with aluminum frames, eco leather backs, and stainless steel hinges. The Ultra measures 171.5 x 74 x 7.2 mm (unfolded) and weighs 199g, while the Razr 60 is slightly lighter at 188g with a similar form factor. The Razr 60 Ultra comes in Rio Red, Scarab, Mountain Trail, and Cabaret, while the Razr 60 is available in Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, and Lightest Sky.
The Razr 60 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The Razr 60 uses the Dimensity 7400X, with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Both models lack microSD card support and ship with Android 15.
Connectivity features include dual SIM support, NFC, and side-mounted fingerprint sensors. The Ultra adds Wi-Fi 7, Snapdragon Sound, and Android Digital Car Key with UWB and NFC compatibility.
The Razr 60 Ultra offers a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide lens, with support for 8K and 4K video recording. Its 50MP internal selfie camera also supports 4K@60fps. The Razr 60 includes a 50MP main and 13MP ultrawide camera setup, along with a 32MP front camera, supporting 4K@30fps. Both models support Pantone Validated Color and Skin Tones and include HDR and panorama options.
The Razr 60 Ultra houses a 4,700mAh battery, supporting 68W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse charging. The Razr 60 comes with a 4,500mAh battery and offers 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The Razr 60 Ultra starts at $1,300 for the 16GB/512GB model, while the vanilla Razr 60 is priced at $700.
