Sindh to Hire 90,000 Teachers

Sindh’s Provincial Minister for Education, Sardar Ali Shah, has announced that the government has decided to recruit an additional 90,000 teachers for the education department, while 83,000 teachers have already been appointed.

According to details, the Sindh government is taking major steps to improve the education system across the province by expanding the teaching workforce.

During a meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sardar Ali Shah briefed him on the department’s performance and shared that offer letters are being issued to candidates who have passed the IBA test.

The provincial minister further stated that the recruitment of new teachers has already led to significant improvements in the education system, helping to strengthen teaching standards across schools in Sindh.

During the meeting, the two also discussed ongoing efforts to modernise the educational infrastructure and enhance facilities at schools across the province.
