The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has announced a nationwide Internship Program for fresh graduates looking to gain professional experience and enhance their skills in a structured work environment.
The program, designed to help young talent build a solid portfolio and understand the dynamics of working in one of Pakistan’s most reputable public sector organisations, is now accepting applications.
Key Details of the Internship Program
- Duration: 8 weeks (2 months)
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 20,000
- Eligibility:
- Fresh graduates (maximum of 3 years since graduation)
- Maximum age: 26 years
- Minimum CGPA: 2.8
- Applications open for graduates only

- Civil Engineering: 14 positions
- Geological Engineering: 05 positions
- Computer Sciences / IT: 03 positions
- Finance & Accounting: 05 positions

Seat Allocation
- Open Quota (40%): 20 seats
- Provincial Quota (60%): 30 seats distributed as follows:
- Punjab: 06 seats
- Sindh: 06 seats
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 06 seats
- Balochistan: 03 seats
- Azad Kashmir: 03 seats
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 03 seats
- Ex-FATA: 03 seats
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following:
- All academic and educational documents
- Current transcript
- CNIC copy
- Domicile certificate
- Updated CV
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Police verification form
How to Apply
Eligible candidates must apply online via the Google Form link provided on WAPDA’s official website: www.wapda.gov.pk under the careers section.
- Last date to apply: 14th May 2025
- Incomplete, incorrect, or late applications will not be accepted.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending interviews.
- Final selection will be made after document verification.
