The federal government has extended an additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) to Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for a further period of three months w.e.f. 05. May 2025 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
According to the Establishment Division’s notification, the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC), granted to Ambreen Jan (IG/BS-22), presently posted as Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is extended for a further period of three (03) months w.e.f. 05.05.2025 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
Initially, Ambreen Jan had been given the charge of Secretary-in-Charge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Later on, on her promotion to grade 22, she was allocated charge of the Secretary Information and Broadcasting.
Meanwhile, the government had granted her the additional charge of MD PTV for a period of three months, which has now been extended.
