Airspace in Major Cities Restored Following Indian Attacks

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has reopened airspace in Lahore and Karachi after closing it for 48 hours. The closure followed fatal Indian attacks on several cities across Pakistan last night.

A NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) has been issued, confirming that flights can now operate in and out of these cities. However, passengers are advised to stay in touch with their airlines, as flight schedules may still change due to the ongoing situation. Airlines will decide on routes and timings based on safety assessments.

The recent attacks by India targeted six different locations in Pakistan on Tuesday night, leading to a nationwide state of alert. According to DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif, 26 innocent Pakistani civilians lost their lives and 46 others were injured as a result of these strikes.

He further revealed in a press conference that Mosque Bilal near Muzaffarabad was among the sites targeted, resulting in three martyrs. Authorities urge travelers to follow official updates as the situation develops.
