Pakistani pilgrims performing Hajj in 2025 will benefit from a range of upgraded facilities, making this year’s pilgrimage one of the most comfortable and organized in the country’s history, according to Director Hajj in Makkah, Azizullah Khan.
This year marks the first time Pakistani pilgrims will stay in fully air-conditioned camps in Mina, now equipped with sofa-cum-beds instead of traditional floor mattresses. These tents have also been upgraded with gypsum walls and elevated luggage storage racks, significantly improving comfort levels.
In Makkah, pilgrims will be accommodated in premium hotels and residential buildings located in the Azizia and Batha Quraish areas, offering improved living conditions close to the holy sites.
Saudi Arabia has launched several digital platforms in recent years to enhance the Hajj experience, including Nusuk, Hajj Navigator, Tawakkalna, and Asefny. These apps provide real-time guidance, navigation, safety alerts, and health support for pilgrims.
Pakistani pilgrims will also be equipped with Nusuk cards, which serve not just as ID but also as essential permits for access to Makkah and other sacred sites. These cards allow pilgrims to view their schedules, access services, receive alerts, and provide feedback.
Each pilgrim will receive a specially prepared kit that includes:

All facilities will be fully functional throughout the pilgrimage to ensure healthcare access for Pakistani pilgrims.
Dedicated teams are in place to manage food, health, and transport arrangements continuously during the pilgrimage. A Monitoring Cell has also been established to assist private Hajj participants and handle complaints or emergencies.
To cater to the needs of all pilgrims, specialized desks such as the Wheelchair Desk have been introduced to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
Mandatory training for pilgrims began on January 18, 2025, with schedules and materials available through the mobile app. For the first time, the government has introduced a three-installment payment plan for the Hajj package, making it easier for participants to manage costs.
All financial transactions related to the pilgrimage have been digitized, improving transparency and reducing the chances of mismanagement.
These developments reflect a strong commitment from both Pakistani and Saudi authorities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj journey for all pilgrims.
