Pakistan’s bronze medal at the Asian Beach Handball Championship comes as a major boost for the Pakistan Handball Federation’s developmental efforts, particularly in non-traditional sports. The country enjoyed a thrilling campaign in the tournament, including a resounding victory over arch-rivals India during the process. Their stellar quest for gold was ended by Iran in the semifinals, but Pakistan will still take heart from their efforts in Oman despite missing out on the IHF Men’s Beach Handball World Championship to be held in 2026.

Oman, a powerhouse in the beach handball scene, secured the gold with a 2-0 win over Iran.

As beach handball continues to grow across Asia, Pakistan’s bronze-medal finish in Muscat underscores their rising presence on the continental stage—and sets the foundation for bigger achievements ahead.
