Furniture and Solar Panels Stolen From Outsourced Schools

Incidents of furniture and solar panel theft have surfaced in several government schools that were recently outsourced, resulting in financial losses worth millions for the Education Department.

According to sources, school staff members are suspected of being involved in facilitating these thefts. In response, the School Education Department has launched a formal investigation into the matter.

The department has also requested a complete record of infrastructure from all outsourced schools to assess the extent of the damage. Officials have made it clear that no leniency will be shown to those found guilty. Staff members implicated in the thefts will face strict disciplinary action, including termination of employment.

It is worth noting that over 10,000 public schools have been outsourced over the past year as part of a broader initiative.
