PCB Changes Schedule of Bangladesh’s Tour of Pakistan Once More

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially unveiled the revised schedule for Bangladesh’s upcoming three-match T20I series against the home side.

According to official confirmation, the entire series will take place under lights at Lahore’s historic Gaddafi Stadium from 28 May to 1 June 2025. The highly anticipated series will begin on Wednesday, 28 May, with the second game set for Friday, 30 May, and the final T20I scheduled for Sunday, 1 June. Earlier, the games were rumoured to take place on June 1st, 3rd, and 5th.

The Bangladesh cricket team is expected to arrive in Lahore on 25 May, with training sessions planned for 26 and 27 May to fine-tune their preparations ahead of the series. This marks another important international assignment for Pakistan at home as the team continues to shape its T20 core for major events like the T20 Asia Cup and the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

For Pakistan, this series also offers a platform to test its emerging talent pool, especially with several senior players, including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi, missing. It will also be Mike Hesson’s first assignment as Pakistan’s head coach.

The series was briefly in doubt due to external pressures, but PCB’s timely intervention and successful diplomatic engagement ensured that the fixtures would proceed as planned.

Gaddafi Stadium, which has hosted numerous high-octane clashes over the years, is once again set to be the heart of Pakistan cricket, offering fans a festive atmosphere and a look at the next generation of T20 stars from both sides.
