In response to the development, Rescue 1122 Skardu has launched a full-scale search and rescue operation. Teams have been dispatched to the area to investigate and search for the missing individuals.

The tourists — Suleman Nasrullah, Wasif Shehzad, Umar Ihsan, and Usman Dar — were last in contact on the night of May 15 while staying at a hotel in Danyore, Gilgit. They departed for Skardu the following morning and have not been heard from since. Their mobile phones have remained off, and no contact has been made with their families.

Authorities had earlier alerted all relevant checkpoints and launched a region-wide search, but no trace of the car or the tourists was found until now.

The discovery of the vehicle has brought a renewed push to locate the young men, as families and officials continue to appeal for public assistance. The search teams are now focusing their efforts in and around the area where the vehicle was found.
