A major tourist destination has taken a significant step to enhance visitor safety and convenience with the full operation of its Smart Safe City project. The initiative features advanced surveillance, emergency response systems, and improved connectivity for tourists.

The location in focus is Murree, famously known as the “Queen of the Hills.” Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is expected to formally inaugurate the project soon.

As part of the Smart Safe City initiative, 170 state-of-the-art surveillance cameras, emergency panic buttons, and environmental sensors have been installed at key points throughout Murree. Local police are now equipped with modern body cameras and drones to strengthen law enforcement and public safety.
