Seventeen-year-old TikToker Sana Yousaf from Chitral was shot dead in Islamabad’s G-13 sector, according to police and local reports. The incident took place on Monday within the jurisdiction of Sumbal Police Station.
According to initial details, Sana was at home while her mother was out buying groceries. An alleged neighbor reported that a thief entered the house and shot Sana three times. She died on the spot. The assailant fled the scene before police arrived.
Authorities have collected evidence from the scene and are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby cameras as part of the investigation. Sana’s body was taken to PIMS Hospital for a postmortem examination, and after legal formalities, was handed over to her family.
Police are continuing their investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect. The tragic incident has shocked the local community and Sana’s followers, as the young TikToker’s life was cut short a day after she had just celebrated her 17th birthday.
