The last conversation between TikToker Sana Yousuf and her killer, Umar Hayat alias Kaka, has come to light, moments before she was fatally shot outside her Islamabad residence.
Initial reports indicate that 22-year-old Umar Hayat had repeatedly approached 17-year-old Sana Yousuf for friendship, but she consistently rejected his advances. Eyewitnesses and sources close to the investigation say that during their final encounter, Sana tried to calm the situation, reportedly telling Umar, “You are getting angry, leave this place. There are CCTV cameras, go away,” just before gunshots rang out.
Sana Yousuf was shot twice and died at the scene. The suspect fled but was later apprehended by Islamabad Police in Faisalabad. Authorities recovered the murder weapon and Sana’s iPhone from his possession.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the police for tracing the case and arresting the accused within 20 hours. Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, stated that seven investigation teams were formed, 37 people were questioned, and 11 raids were conducted as part of the probe.
The case has sent shockwaves through Islamabad and across the country, highlighting the dangers faced by young social media personalities.
