Another Domestic Airline to Start Flight Operations Soon

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has issued a Regular Public Transport (RPT) license to Air Karachi, officially allowing the new private airline to enter the country’s commercial aviation sector.

The move comes after Air Karachi completed all regulatory requirements and submitted a detailed business plan to the authorities. According to PCAA sources, Air Karachi is now set to begin domestic flight operations in the near future, with plans to expand to international routes later on.

The airline, backed by prominent Karachi business figures and an initial investment of Rs 5 billion, will be led by retired Air Vice Marshal Imran as CEO. In its first phase, Air Karachi plans to lease three aircraft for its fleet.

The launch of Air Karachi is expected to increase competition in Pakistan’s aviation industry, offering more travel options for passengers and creating new jobs. The airline’s entry follows a recent trend of new private carriers seeking licenses, reflecting growing demand for improved air travel services in the country.

Air Karachi’s management has assured full compliance with all aviation regulations and aims to provide safe, reliable, and efficient service to travelers.
