After weeks of escalating tensions with the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has made explosive allegations on his popular social media platform.
He took to X (formerly known as Twitter), writing,
Time to drop the really big bomb: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!
The “Epstein files” refer to U.S. government documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender whose connections to high-profile figures have long fueled speculation and controversy. Epstein died in 2019 while in jail awaiting trial.
The White House has not responded to Musk’s claim.
The accusation comes after former allies clashed over a Republican policy bill, with Trump criticizing Musk for his opposition and Musk claiming Trump would have lost the election without his support. The dispute has played out in public statements and a flurry of social media posts, with both men trading barbs and accusations.
Elon Musk, who recently left his White House advisory role, has also criticized Trump’s spending policies and threatened to reduce his political donations in future elections. Trump, in turn, has suggested the government could cut contracts and subsidies to Musk’s companies.
