Chicken Prices Drop in 3 Cities

In Lahore, the price of live broiler chicken has dropped by Rs. 10 per kilogram. According to the official price list, the wholesale rate is now set at Rs. 304 per kg, while the retail price stands at Rs. 318 per kg.

The price of broiler chicken meat in Lahore has also seen a reduction of Rs. 14 per kg, decreasing from Rs. 475 to Rs. 461. Meanwhile, the cost of eggs has risen by Rs. 2 per dozen, bringing the new rate to Rs. 317 per dozen.

A day earlier, the wholesale price of live broiler in Lahore was Rs. 314 per kg, with a retail rate of Rs. 328 per kg, while eggs were selling at Rs. 315 per dozen.

In Multan, the price of live broiler chicken has decreased by Rs. 8 per kg, and chicken meat has become Rs. 11 cheaper per kg. However, egg prices have increased by Rs. 3 per dozen.

Currently, the wholesale price of live broiler chicken in Multan is Rs. 286 per kg, and the retail rate is Rs. 300. Chicken meat is now available at Rs. 435 per kg, while eggs are being sold at Rs. 317 per dozen.

Just a day earlier, live broiler chicken in Multan was priced at Rs. 294 per kg wholesale and Rs. 308 per kg retail. Chicken meat was selling at Rs. 446 per kg, and eggs were priced at Rs. 314 per dozen.

In Peshawar, the price of live broiler chicken has dropped significantly by Rs. 65 per kg over the past week. The official rate has come down from Rs. 380 to Rs. 315 per kg.
