The Hobart Hurricanes have bolstered their Global Super League 2025 squad with the signings of two Pakistan internationals for their debut campaign.
Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Nawaz have been unveiled as part of the team’s squad as they chase the tournament’s$1 million prize pool in Guyana this July. The tournament features elite T20 franchises from around the globe and will be played entirely at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence, starting Thursday, July 10.
Sahibzada Farhan joins the Hobart Hurricanes for the Global Super League on the back of an impressive PSL campaign, which led to his national recall as well. A powerful top-order batter with a growing reputation, he brings aggression and consistency to Hobart’s lineup.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Nawaz offers immense value as a left-arm spinner and lower-order hitter. A proven performer in international T20 cricket, he adds balance with the ball and flexibility with the bat, giving Hobart several tactical options.
Mohammad Nabi and Odean Smith join the Pakistani duo as their overseas players for the tournament.
