Amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, a diplomatic stir has erupted on social media after the official Israel Defense Forces (IDF) account shared a map that showed the entire Kashmir region as part of Pakistan.

The image, intended to highlight the missile range of Iran, quickly caught the attention of Indian social media users who were angered by what they perceived as a serious cartographic misrepresentation.

Many Indians, who often refer to Israel as a close strategic ally, publicly criticized the IDF, demanding an immediate correction.
The backlash prompted the IDF to issue a clarification. The IDF wrote, “This post is an illustration of the region. This map fails to precisely depict borders. We apologize for any offense caused by this image.”

It’s very ironic that national savings bank once posted Pakistan map without Kashmir all together and they never updated neither apologies to date. Anyone can still check on their official Facebook page.
