Vivo has expanded its T4 series with the introduction of the T4 Ultra, a device that brings flagship-level features to the lineup. The T4 Ultra stands out with its advanced telephoto camera, high-end chipset, and premium display while keeping a mid-range price tag.
The Vivo T4 Ultra features a 6.67-inch quad-curved OLED display with a resolution of 1260p+, 10-bit color depth, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is the brightest in the series, offering up to 5,000 nits peak local brightness and 1,600 nits peak global brightness.
The device is slim and lightweight, measuring 7.43mm thick and weighing 192g (193g for the Phoenix Gold variant), and it features a glass back for a more premium feel. The phone is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance and includes an under-display optical fingerprint reader. The phone is available in Phoenix Gold and Meteor Grey, and is manufactured in India.
Powering the T4 Ultra is the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, a flagship grade processor from last year which was previously seen in Vivo’s flagship X100s Pro. The device is available in three configurations: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage, all using LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone is cooled by a 43.62cm² vapor chamber and runs FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15, with a promise of two major OS updates and three years of security patches.
The T4 Ultra introduces a sophisticated camera system for its segment. It features a 50MP Sony IMX921-based main camera (1/1.56” sensor) with an f/1.88 lens and OIS. But the highlight is the 50MP periscope tele-macro camera with 3x optical zoom, 10x tele-macro mode, and OIS+EIS stabilization, using an IMX882 sensor (1/1.95”). An 8MP ultra-wide camera and an Aura Light complete the rear setup, while the front houses a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 lens.
The T4 Ultra is equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging. While this is the smallest battery in the T4 series, it balances performance with a thinner and lighter design.
Pricing starts at $445 for the 8/256GB model, $470 for the 12/256GB variant, and $490 for the 12/512GB version.
