Here is the World Test Championship Schedule for 2025

As South Africa revel in their first World Test Championship triumph, the rest of the teams are gearing up for the next 2025–2027 cycle, which officially begins tomorrow with Bangladesh taking on Sri Lanka.

Nine teams will once again vie for Test supremacy, with 27 series and 71 matches set to take place across historic and newly significant venues. Here’s how the calendar for the 2025 WTC Tests is shaping up, with all fixtures confirmed through December.

The first points of the new WTC cycle will be up for grabs in June as two series kick off simultaneously. Bangladesh will tour Sri Lanka for two Tests, while England hosts India for five matches.

World Test Championship finalists from the last cycle, Australia, will kick off their next cycle with three matches against the West Indies in June and July. Pakistan’s first rodeo of the World Test Championship 2025–27 will be against the defending champions South Africa at home in October.

A major portion of the next Ashes series will also take place in 2025.
