Govt to Begin Advance Registration for Hajj 2026 Soon

The Ministry of Religious Affairs is preparing to initiate advance registration for Hajj 2026 in the next four to five days, according to a private news channel.

This new requirement will apply to all intending pilgrims, regardless of whether they choose the government or private Hajj scheme.

The move is part of a comprehensive pre-planning initiative to improve arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims, in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

As per the new policy, applicants will need to submit a token amount along with their registration forms. This initial deposit will be adjusted against the overall cost of the Hajj package. Only those who complete this advance registration will be eligible for Hajj 2026.

Designated banks across Pakistan will facilitate the registration process, and an official advertisement for applications is expected to be released in the next few days. After the registration, pilgrims will have the option to select between the government and private Hajj schemes.

Even those who opted for the private Hajj scheme last year will need to register again if they plan to perform Hajj in 2026.

The data collected from the registrations will be shared with the Saudi authorities to determine Pakistan’s official Hajj quota. The Ministry urges all prospective pilgrims to stay informed and prepare for the holy journey.
