In a significant step to support the working class, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has set the minimum monthly wage for labourers at Rs40,000 in its 2025–26 budget.
To enhance labour welfare, workplace safety, and service delivery, the provincial government has allocated Rs 210.43 million for the labour sector. This funding will support a total of six development projects—three ongoing and three new.
