Islamabad experienced one of the most severe heatwaves in recent years this June, with temperatures rising to 45°C on June 11, one of the hottest days in the city’s history.

Earlier this week, the Met Office said that pre-monsoon rain is expected in multiple cities including Rawalpindi and Islamabad between June 20th and 23rd.
It also predicted that very hot weather conditions will likely to subside gradually during the forecast period.
