Tech20four (Pvt Ltd) has officially joined hands with the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) as its Technology Innovation Partner under the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative. This collaboration was cemented by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a ceremony held at the National CERT headquarters in Islamabad.
This partnership aims to enhance national cybersecurity capabilities through innovation, collaborative research, and human capital development. As a part of the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE), Tech20Four will work in tandem with National CERT to create advanced technological solutions, facilitate knowledge sharing, and foster a resilient digital security infrastructure.
Director GRC, Dr. Mehreen Afzal emphasized the importance of such partnerships, stating that they form the backbone of a robust and secure national cyber framework and are essential to ensuring Pakistan’s preparedness against evolving cyber threats.
The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) is a visionary initiative that connects government institutions, private companies registered under SECP, academia, and tech innovators to create a united front against cyber adversaries. It promotes knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the development of indigenous cybersecurity technologies.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by key leadership from National CERT, including Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, Mr. Sadiq Khan, Deputy Director Labs, and several other esteemed officials. Representing Tech20Four was Mr. Aamir Nawaz Tanoli, Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, representatives from Cywift were also present.
