In a major push to streamline traffic enforcement, Punjab authorities issued 26,489 driving licenses in the past 24 hours alone. During the same period, 40,593 traffic violations were recorded, leading to fines totaling Rs. 24 million.
As part of a broader environmental crackdown, officials ticketed 600 smoke-emitting vehicles. Of these, 91 were impounded for failing to meet emission standards.
Separately, official data reveals that Tahaffuz Marakaz across Punjab have assisted 33,893 people so far this year. The beneficiaries include 16,483 women, 12,622 children, and 4,788 transgender individuals.

I think the proper word should be SOLD not ISSUED keeping in mind there is not proper education of road safety and people rights.
