FBR Extends Deadline for Sales Tax System Integration

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has allowed corporate sales tax registered persons and non-corporate sales tax registered persons to integrate with the Board’s computerized system by July 1, 2025, and August 1, 2025, respectively.

To provide a one-month extension, the FBR issued instructions to the field formations on Tuesday regarding the electronic Integration of taxpayers and the extension.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 74 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the FBR has further extended the date of integration with the Board’s computerized system through a license integrator or PRAL, as required under Rule 150Q of the Sales Tax Rules, 2006.
