Pakistan’s men’s cricket team’s schedule for the upcoming series against Bangladesh has officially been confirmed, where Salman Ali Agha’s men will play a three-match T20I series, marking another key assignment in their build-up to next year’s T20 World Cup.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board ratified the itinerary on Thursday, with all matches set to be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
According to the schedule, Pakistan will arrive in the Bangladeshi capital on 16 July, with the first T20I to be played on Sunday, 20 July. The second and third games are scheduled for Tuesday, 22 July, and Thursday, 24 July, respectively. All three matches will begin at 6:00 PM local time.
This will be the first time Pakistan tours Bangladesh for a bilateral series since 2021. The two teams last faced off in Lahore earlier this year, where Pakistan comfortably won all three T20Is at the Gaddafi Stadium.
| Date | Match | Venue | Time (Local) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 July | 1st T20I | Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium | 6:00 PM |
| 22 July | 2nd T20I | Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium | 6:00 PM |
| 24 July | 3rd T20I | Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium | 6:00 PM |
The series comes at a time when both teams are reshaping their squads and strategies with an eye on the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
For Pakistan, it is also the first international assignment under their new coach Mike Hesson. The three-match series will provide a platform for the PCB’s revamped selection committee and coaching staff to assess emerging talent, as they look to strike the right balance between experience and youth.
With familiar subcontinental conditions and a passionate home crowd expected in Dhaka, the Bangladesh series is likely to test Pakistan’s temperament and tactical flexibility—qualities that will prove crucial in the months ahead.
