Meteorologist Anjum Nazeer has predicted two to three spells of rainfall in Karachi during the current month.
Speaking on Geo News’ morning show Geo Pakistan, she stated that light rain is expected in Karachi between July 9 and 11.
She added that two to three rain spells are likely to occur in Karachi in mid-July, with some parts of Sindh also expected to receive light showers.
According to the meteorologist, the monsoon system is currently affecting the upper regions of the country. Heavy rainfall is likely in the upper and northeastern parts of Punjab. In the past 24 hours, Chirat recorded 92mm of rain.
She also clarified that, at present, there is no risk of a cloudburst anywhere in the country.
