The University of the Punjab (PU) has officially opened admissions for its undergraduate programs for the 2025 academic session.
According to the university’s official announcement, the last date for online application submission is August 5, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
A university spokesperson confirmed that entry test results for the first admission test have already been uploaded on PU’s official website www.pu.edu.pk, enabling candidates to check their performance. Around 34,000 students appeared in the first test, showing a strong interest in the university’s diverse academic offerings.
The registration for the second entry test, which will be held on July 20, closed on July 4. Students who had appeared in the first test were eligible to reappear in the second attempt to improve their scores.
The university has announced that 25 percent of the admission weightage will be based on the entry test, which is mandatory for all undergraduate programs.
To accommodate students from various regions, PU is conducting its entry tests in multiple major cities across Pakistan. The university has designed seven different types of tests tailored to different academic streams.
Applicants are strongly advised to visit the official PU website to review the eligibility criteria, application process, and required documents before submitting their forms.
