Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s son, Junaid Safdar, was issued a traffic challan in Lahore’s Johar Town for violating traffic regulations.
The incident occurred during a routine check, where a traffic warden stopped Junaid Safdar’s vehicle and found it had tinted windows.
The security vehicle accompanying him was also fined for the same infraction. Police officials confirmed that the challan was issued strictly according to standard procedure, stating that “no one is above the law.”
CM Maryam Nawaz publicly commended the Dolphin Police and traffic authorities for their impartial enforcement. “You have upheld the rule of law. I appreciate the Dolphin Police team for ensuring legal compliance,” she stated.
Maryam Nawaz further stressed that her administration is committed to the uniform application of the law across Punjab, regardless of status or position.
