Dental Treatment Services Cost See Huge Increase in Pakistan

Healthcare has become significantly more expensive across Pakistan, making treatment increasingly difficult for low-income groups, according to official data.

Health-related expenses rose by 0.99 percent in June alone, while the overall increase throughout the year stands at 12.63 percent.

Dental services saw the highest annual increase, with a 1.54 percent rise in June and a sharp 26.66 percent jump year-on-year. Fees for medical tests increased by 1.52 percent in June and 6.99 percent over the year.
