Two young men sustained serious injuries on Monday after being struck by a double-cabin vehicle in Karachi’s Ancholi area, triggering public outrage and widespread discussion on social media.
According to 24News, the vehicle involved in the incident is reportedly registered under the name of Syed Zafar Abbas, head of the JDC Foundation, a prominent welfare organization.
Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle ran over the two individuals and fled the scene. However, the number plate allegedly fell off during the escape, enabling bystanders to trace ownership of the vehicle. The injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital and remain in critical condition.

Soon after the incident, Zafar Abbas arrived at the site and reportedly assured those present that medical assistance would be provided to the injured.
