The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a major facility to ease the process of accessing identity-related services for residents of Islamabad and surrounding areas.
Starting July 9, 2025, this new initiative brings all identity document services under one roof, operating from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily. This step is aimed at reducing the hassle citizens often face when navigating multiple offices for documentation.
Residents can now visit the Islamabad Police Facilitation Center to access all identity-related services in one place.
Services available at the Police Facilitation Center include:
- Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs)
- Child Registration Certificates (B-Form)
- Family Registration Certificates (FRCs)
- Marital status updates
- Cancellation of ID documents due to death
- And other NADRA-related services
Previously, NADRA had extended its services to local union councils in areas such as Saidpur, Sihala, Model Town, Koral, I-10/4, as well as Murid (Chakwal) and Daulat Nagar (Gujrat), allowing residents to access documentation closer to home.
Now, citizens can obtain services such as CNIC issuance, B-Forms, FRCs, marital status updates, and cancellation of documents at their respective union councils as well.
