Pakistan’s Textile Exports Up Over 7% in FY25

Pakistan’s textile exports rose 7.22 percent to $17.88 billion in FY25, up from $16.68 billion in FY24, according to official data. However, exports remained 7.36 percent below the FY22 level of $19.3 billion.

In June 2025, exports stood at $1.53 billion, up 7.22 percent from $1.4 billion a year earlier.

Monthly data shows a mixed trend. Exports fell 3.05 percent in July to $1.27 billion from $1.31 billion, then increased 12.33 percent in August to $1.64 billion from $1.46 billion. In September, exports rose 18.38 percent to $1.61 billion from $1.36 billion.

October saw a 13.19 percent increase to $1.63 billion from $1.44 billion, while November exports were up 10.61 percent to $1.46 billion from $1.32 billion. In December, exports grew 5.71 percent to $1.48 billion from $1.40 billion.

Exports in January 2025 rose 15.07 percent to $1.68 billion from $1.46 billion. February and March recorded growth of 0.71 percent and 10.77 percent, respectively. In April, exports declined 1.29 percent to $1.22 billion from $1.24 billion, followed by a 3.85 percent drop in May to $1.50 billion from $1.56 billion.

Despite annual growth, total exports remain $1.42 billion short of the FY22 peak.
