A unified mathematics textbook has been introduced for all ninth-grade students, regardless of whether they are in the Arts or Science group.
This means that students in the Arts group will now study the same math book as their peers in the Science group.
The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTA) has officially announced this change and circulated instructions to all schools to implement the new policy. As a result, the separate general science book for the ninth-grade Arts group has been discontinued.
Education specialists note that the new math curriculum has been designed to be concise and accessible, ensuring it is manageable for Arts students as well.
