Punjab University has announced a hike in its tuition fees, with increases ranging from 16% to 59% set to take effect this month.
On average, students will see their fees rise by 28%. The most significant jump is for the LLM program, which will now cost Rs 5,825 more—a 59% increase.
Undergraduate programs such as BSc, BCom, BBA, and MBA will see their fees go up by 15%. The D Pharmacy fee has been raised from Rs 18,000 to Rs 23,000.
Meanwhile, LLB students face a 28% increase, and the Medical Diploma fee has gone up by 16%.
University officials stated that the new fee structure was approved by the university syndicate and will be implemented starting this month.
