Students Can Now Correct Their Name, Father’s Name, and DOB Online

In a major step toward digitizing education, the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has introduced a new online system for students to request corrections in their personal records.

Students can now easily submit correction requests for details like their name, father’s name, and date of birth online—without needing to visit the board office. This move aims to improve transparency and save time and money for thousands of candidates.

Chairman Adnan Khan stated that the board is working to become a model of efficiency and transparency through technology. He also noted that verification processes and the issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs) are now fully digital.

Thanks to these reforms, students no longer have to rely on agents or consultants. All services are now available with just a few clicks from home.

The Rawalpindi Board’s push for modernization not only benefits students but also sets an example for other educational boards across the country to follow.

  • This is really a good step for the students and parents alike. I myself undergone a marathon efforts to get a small correction in the name of my son. Even, I had to file a law suit for the said purpose incurring more than Rupees 50,000 as lawyer’s fee and other expenses (Lawyer was known to me). Then, the Board staff implemented the decree issued by Civil Judge and that too after taking “Kharcha”!

  • I am also hopeful that all Educational Boards will also follow this policy and modernized their facilities for digitalisation. It will make correction academic records more easy.
