In a significant development, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially announced the schedule for the Asia Cup 2025.
The tournament will be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 9 to 28, 2025, and will feature eight teams competing in the T20 International format. The final of the tournament will take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
The participating teams are India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman, and the host nation UAE. The teams have been divided into two groups of four, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Four stage.
The top two teams from the Super Four will then face off in the final, ensuring a competitive and engaging format for fans and players alike.
