The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has selected the design for the new currency notes.
This was announced by State Bank Governor Jameel Ahmad during a press conference in Karachi regarding the decision to maintain the current interest rate on Wednesday.
The governor said that the process of introducing new currency notes is underway, and a design has been selected, one created by an international expert.
Ahmad further mentioned that work on the new currency notes will begin after approval from the Cabinet.
