Viral Video Captures Terrifying Amusement Park Accident in Saudi Arabia

A dramatic incident unfolded at Green Mountain Park in the Hada district near Taif, Saudi Arabia, when a popular amusement ride catastrophically broke apart while in operation.

At least 23 people were injured—some seriously—after the ride, known as ‘360 Degrees,’ suffered a structural failure with guests still on board.

Footage widely shared on social media captured the shocking moment: park visitors were seen enjoying the swinging attraction, their laughter and excitement filling the air, when suddenly the central support snapped, sending the ride crashing down with its passengers.

According to reports from Okaz, a well-known Saudi newspaper, the ride’s arm fractured mid-swing, causing chaos as the structure collapsed. Witnesses described how the broken pole recoiled at high speed, striking several individuals, while others were hurt after being thrown from their seats.

Local hospitals in Taif quickly declared a Code Yellow emergency, receiving the injured after they were given initial treatment at the scene. Emergency responders and security teams arrived promptly, and authorities have since launched an immediate investigation to uncover what led to the ride’s failure.
