The 25-year-old opposite hitter becomes the latest addition to Benfica’s star-studded roster as the Lisbon-based club prepares to build on a glittering 2024/25 campaign in which they claimed several trophies across domestic and continental competitions. The club’s dominance at home and strong presence in European volleyball set the stage for Murad Khan to showcase his power-hitting game on some of the biggest stages in the sport.

Known for his towering 205cm frame and explosive spike reach of 362cm, Murad Khan has built a reputation as one of Asia’s most reliable opposite hitters. He played last season with Beijing BAIC Motor in China and also featured for Incheon Korean Air Jumbos and Neftochimik Burgas in South Korea and Bulgaria, respectively. His versatility and impact across various leagues have made him one of Pakistan’s most successful volleyball exports.

Before that, he made his European debut with Spartak Subotica in Serbia from 2021 to 2023, where he gained valuable experience in European club volleyball.
