On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the federal government has decided to establish dedicated immigration counters for foreign passengers at all international airports across the country.
According to the PM Office Media Wing, the initiative aims to encourage tourism, ensure smooth business travel, and facilitate foreign investment.
The dedicated counters are expected to speed up immigration processing, benefiting both international visitors and returning Pakistani citizens by reducing waiting times.
“This step is part of the government’s broader plan to make Pakistan more welcoming for global tourists, investors, and business delegations,” the statement added.
