Pakistan’s Monsoon Season Could Last Until September

Meteorologists have predicted that this year’s monsoon season is likely to continue until the end of September.

According to experts, climate change is altering traditional weather patterns across the region.

They explained that in 2025, monsoon winds will have less impact on the southern parts of the country, with most of the rainfall concentrated in northern and upper areas. However, starting August 10, the monsoon system is expected to shift towards the southern regions.

Experts further stated that by mid-August, southern areas could experience more active monsoon conditions. This year, the duration of the season may extend longer than usual. Typically, the monsoon in southern Pakistan ends around September 15, but in 2025, it could last until the end of September.
