LDA Seals 108 Properties During Crackdown in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed 108 properties across Lahore during a crackdown on illegal commercial activities and commercial-fee defaulters.

According to an LDA spokesperson, the Town Planning Wing launched the operation in Gulberg, New Garden Town, Shadman, Wapda Town and Sabzazar on the directions of Director General Tahir Farooq.

The authority sealed 30 properties in Gulberg and New Garden Town, 23 properties in Shadman and 30 properties in Wapda Town for unauthorized commercial use. In a separate operation, it sealed 25 properties in Sabzazar over the non-payment of commercial fees.

The sealed properties included private schools, grocery stores, cafés, restaurants, food outlets, bakeries, beauty salons, clinics, workshops, shops and offices.

Chief Town Planner-I Asad-uz-Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali supervised the enforcement campaign.
